Aoife Kinsella, MSc

Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapist

Education: Aoife qualified as a humanistic & integrative psychotherapist in 2014. Following this, she spent 5 years in London where she gained experience working as part of the wellbeing team in The University of Roehampton and for an NHS IAPT service in Brixton. 

Areas of Expertise: She works in an integrative way incorporating different modalities including person-centered, psychodynamic, Gestalt, CBT, attachment theory. 

About Aoife

Aoife (she/her) qualified as a humanistic & integrative psychotherapist in 2014. Following this she spent 5 years in London where she gained experience working as part of the wellbeing team in The University of Roehampton and for an NHS IAPT service in Brixton. She also ran a smallbusy private practice in East London working with a range of clients on a short and longterm basis. She works in an integrative way incorporating different modalities including person-centered, psychodynamic, Gestalt, CBT, attachment theory. 

In 2020 Aoife returned to Ireland and obtained a First-Class Honours MA in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy from Carlow IT/ Tivoli Institute. Her dissertation explored the challenges psychotherapists face working in an online environment. She also joined Zevo Health in 2020. Since then, she has continued to develop her counseling and coaching skills as well as offering group support sessions and delivering training.  

Aoife’s aim with any client is to meet their individual needs, and provide tailored support in a safe, non-judgmental space. She engages in ongoing continuous professional development with some of her more recent areas of focus including working with shame and trauma.  

Outside of work, Aoife enjoys cooking, live music, and hanging out with her cats.
